  • Bitch Betta Have My Music || QTPOC Marketplace

    The Garden of Peace Project is celebrating the Unapologetic Queen of Pop and local queer and trans poc artists through the QTPOC Marketplace, as part of this month’s Penn Avenue Arts District Unblurred Event. BBHMM is an all-ages (18+ after 9 pm), pay-what-you-can affair featuring workshops with QTPOC artists, crafts, food vendors, free new and gently used coats, and music all night by local queer and trans people of color djs.

  • Applications Open for newMoves Contemporary Dance Festival

    Kelly Strayhorn Theater is currently accepting applications for its four-day newMoves Contemporary Dance Festival of performances by emerging and mid-career choreographers, presented along with artist talks, master classes and symposium. Now in its eighth year, newMoves Contemporary Dance Festival is a platform for contemporary dancers and choreographers to share the stage with local, national, and international choreographers.

    KST provides development support through rehearsal space, technical assistance, access to the theater with its sound and lighting inventory, and an honorarium.
